I had a lovely afternoon at yesterday’s Treacle Market, with the launch of my much-anticipated (at least by me!) Pop Up Open Studio. I was quite chuffed at how many people turned up to see what I was up to and wish me well. Maybe it was the prospect of cake? Anyway, the afternoon whizzed by in a very jolly fashion. As I write, it’s Monday and my first full day. I’ve kept it simple, with just an Open Studio day whilst I find my feet and iron out any teething troubles. I’ve had a couple of visitors, but a surprising number of shops are closed on a Monday, as is the Market, so it’s probably the quietest day of the week. I suspect people will be more tempted to drop in tomorrow when I’m running my Creative Art workshop. It’s always less scary when you can see other people doing stuff! It’s just gone 1 pm, and there is a papier mache robin that’s in need of some colour, so I shall sign off for now…
