Event Booking

I’ve just finished my 6-week Open Studio event at the Grosvenor Centre in Macc. It was a really productive 6 weeks and lovely to have so many people dropping in to take part in my workshops.  Catch up with it all on my blog.  My next adventure will be my course in Grasmere in September.  Read on for more about that. If you need any more information do get in touch.

Papier Mâché – Lake District Residential and weekly workshops

I’ll be running another papier mâché course at Glenthorne Quaker Centre in Grasmere in September.  Not long to go now!  Booking for this is through the Glenthorne Website  Please contact me if you’d like any more details about this, or any other workshops. You can see the programme for the week here.

Creative Art Workshops

My next Creative Art workshops will be in September at All Saints Church. The first 6-week block will start on September 15th. All the details and booking information will be here a bit nearer the time but get in touch if you’d like to know more.

Life Classes

The next life classes at Townley St Hall will be on Friday 12th June and Thursday 18th June. There is just one place left now on the Thursday class but you can add your name to the waiting list for either or both classes (we do sometimes have people drop out).  If you need any more information or would like to go on the mailing list for Life Drawing, please email me.

Bespoke Courses

I also run bespoke courses so if you have a group that would like to do something together get in touch. Depending on the subject, I could run a one-off workshop for you (as an unusual birthday celebration??) or a short series. For example, I can put on a 5-week course in papier mâché where you can learn how to make your own animal. This could be online if you aren’t local to Macclesfield. Or I can do a one-off session, showing you how to make simple concertina books, recycling found materials. I can also do vouchers – maybe a present for that awkward-to-buy-for person? (That’ll teach ’em). If you have something in mind or just want to know a bit more please get in touch. I am fully DBS-checked. Prices start at £60 per group for a 2-hour session.

Payment for all courses is made at the time of booking. All your details are processed securely and your credit card details are processed via Stripe. If an event is shown as sold out, click on ‘view detail’ to be added to the waiting list.

June Life Drawing (female model) Last Few Tickets

Our next life class with a female model will take place on Friday, June 12th, 7-9 pm. We will be working from the live model. The session is relaxed and informal. No previous experience is necessary but if you’re new to life drawing Patty will guide you through the basics. Students are encouraged to look at each other’s work and share ideas. £10.50 per person Please bring your own materials. This can be whatever you like to draw with – pen, pencil, charcoal, pastels.  An A4 or A3 pad is probably most convenient. If you prefer to work bigger or on loose paper then you will probably need a board. This can be rested on a chair in front of you or you can bring an easel if you have one. Please note: I require a minimum of 12 attendees for this event to go ahead. In the unlikely even that we do not reach this threshold, you will be offered a full refund.  It hasn’t been necessary yet (touch wood!) If the course is fully booked please scroll down to the ‘WAITING LIST‘ below. Enter your details and then click on ‘register waiting’.  If a place later becomes available […] ...
