Herons seem to be the modern evolution of a pterodactyl. That long neck and those ungainly dangling legs are unmistakable when seen in flight.
Though I have made a flying one in the past they are, as you may imagine, a nightmare to package and post so these days I make them standing, solitary and statuesque.
They seem to want to be big, about 30 cm high, but if you would like a smaller one please contact me.
