Fat Tuesday was created for Macclesfield’s Pride Art Exhibition. I had so much fun going to town on her glamorous outfit and elaborate dreadlocks. Her sparkly leotard is made from foil sweetie wrappers and her skirt and head-dress are real feathers. She’s 36 cm tall, up to the top of her head, though of course she will insist on flinging her arm out in that theatrical way. I was gutted when Quality Street switched to plastic wrappers. Tuesday’s boots are made from my carefully-hoarded foil originals – vintage!!
