A friend referred to my ‘residency’ at the Grosvenor Centre. I like that – made me feel like Madonna in Vegas. She may lead a more exciting life than me. Hovering near the top of my exciting list is my bookmaking workshop. This was last week – the first of the ‘specials’ that I’m running as one-offs. It was a lovely morning and the books everyone produced looked great – everyone brings their own character to the papers they choose to decorate them with. I still have some materials that I prepped for this so if you want to drop in and make your own you’re most welcome. This morning it was portraits. We had a good size group for everyone to draw each other. My apologies to those of you I managed to make look old, grumpy or just weird – it wasn’t my finest hour. It was good fun though so we agreed we’d do another one. Probably next Friday morning but I’ll post an update once I’m sure. Meantime, I have 2 weeks of my ‘residency’ left, then it’s Farewell Vegas.
