So this is Unit 37 in the Grosvenor Centre. It’s near the Chestergate entrance, next door to the Quiet Cat bookshop. And, for 6 weeks from the end of April, it’s going to be my new home! I’ll be there 10 till 4 each weekday (except Wednesdays – I don’t want to overdo it). If you’ve ever wondered what the hell a ‘papier mache artist’ does all day (and I’m sure you have) then this is your chance to find out. As well as my own faffing about with glue and paper, and drinking lots of tea, I’ll be running daily workshops. There’ll be a couple of creative art drop-ins, similar to those I usually run at All Saints. I’ll have a range of projects and ideas to try. You might just come along once or you might want to make it a regular thing. There’ll be a group project too, that will run across the 6 weeks so I’m hoping lots of people will take part in that. I’ll also have a papier mache workshop each week. If you’ve been before you might come to just one or two to get advice and help with a new project. If you’ve never tried it you could come regularly and make something from start to finish. And of course, I’ll be doing my best to tempt you to sign up for my lovely residential in the Lake District in September. Keep checking in here for my latest breathless dispatches
