Event Booking
My next papier mâché course will take place at Rainow Church on Monday mornings, starting on February 3rd. You can see some of the wonderful animals created on my last course here. There are just a few places left. Please contact me if you’d like to book on.
My new term of Creative Art Workshops at All Saints Church Hall is now underway. This is an ongoing event so if you’d like to know more about it get in touch for details of next term’s programme.
The next life classes at Townley St Hall will be on Friday 14th February (male model) and Thursday February 20th (female model). Bookiings will open here on 26th January
I also run bespoke courses so if you have a group that would like to do something together get in touch. Depending on the subject, I could run a one-off workshop for you (as an unusual birthday celebration??) or a short series. For example, I can put on a 5-week course in papier mâché where you can learn how to make your own animal. Or I can do a one-off session, showing you how to make simple concertina books, recycling found materials. If you have something in mind or just want to know a bit more please get in touch. I am fully DBS-checked. Prices start at £60 per group for a 2-hour session.
Payment for all courses is made at the time of booking. All your details are processed securely and your credit card details are processed via Stripe. If an event is shown as sold out, click on ‘view detail’ to be added to the waiting list.

The next life class with a male model will take place on Friday, February 14th, 7-9 pm. We will be working from the live model. The session is relaxed and informal. No previous experience is necessary but if you’re new to life drawing Patty will guide you through the basics. Students are encouraged to look at each other’s work and share ideas. £10 per person Please bring your own materials. This can be whatever you like to draw with – pen, pencil, charcoal, pastels. An A4 or A3 pad is probably most convenient. If you prefer to work bigger or on loose paper then you will probably need a board. This can be rested on a chair in front of you or you can bring an easel if you have one. Please note: I require a minimum of 12 attendees for this event to go ahead. In the unlikely even that we do not reach this threshold, you will be offered a full refund. It hasn’t been necessary yet (touch wood!)
