Event Booking

My papier mâché course at Rainow Church has just come to an end.  You can see some of the wonderful animals created on my courses below. I will be running another daytime workshop soon, so if you’re interested in booking, or would just like some more information please contact me.

I’m also hoping to run another residential course at Glenthorne Quaker Centre in Grasmere in September 2026.  Giving you plenty of notice, so you can save the date! Please contact me if you’d like any more details about this, or any other workshops.

The Spring term of Creative Art Workshops at All Saints Church Hall will finish at Easter.  This is an ongoing event so if you’d like to know more about it get in touch for details of the summer term’s programme.

The next life classes at Townley St Hall will be on Friday 11th April (male model) and Thursday 17th April (female model).  Bookiings will open here on Sunday 30th March.

I also run bespoke courses so if you have a group that would like to do something together get in touch. Depending on the subject, I could run a one-off workshop for you (as an unusual birthday celebration??) or a short series. For example, I can put on a 5-week course in papier mâché where you can learn how to make your own animal. Or I can do a one-off session, showing you how to make simple concertina books, recycling found materials. If you have something in mind or just want to know a bit more please get in touch. I am fully DBS-checked. Prices start at £60 per group for a 2-hour session.

Payment for all courses is made at the time of booking. All your details are processed securely and your credit card details are processed via Stripe. If an event is shown as sold out, click on ‘view detail’ to be added to the waiting list.

April Life Drawing (female model) Sale has ended

The next life class with a female model will take place on Thursday, 17th April, 3.30-5.30 pm. The session is relaxed and informal. No previous experience is necessary but if you’re new to life drawing Patty will guide you through the basics. Students are encouraged to look at each other’s work and share ideas. £10 per person Please bring your own materials. This can be whatever you like to draw with – pen, pencil, charcoal, pastels.  An A4 or A3 pad is probably most convenient. If you prefer to work bigger or on loose paper then you will probably need a board. You can rest this on a chair in front of you or you can bring an easel if you have one. Please note: I require a minimum of 12 attendees for this event to go ahead. In the unlikely event that we do not reach this threshold you will be offered a full refund. It hasn’t happened yet (touch wood!) If the course is fully booked please scroll down to the ‘WAITING LIST‘ below. Enter your details and then click on ‘register waiting’.  If a place later becomes available you will be contacted. To cancel your booking there is […] ...
