Event Booking

From the end of April,  I’ll be ensconced in the Grosvenor Centre in Macc, running my 6-week Open Studio event. I’ll also be there on Treacle Sunday, 26th April from 1 pm. You can come in for a chat and to see what I’m working on. I’ll  be running daily drop-in in workshops, starting with Creative Art on Tuesday 28th April. You can see the programme for the week here. Keep an eye on my blog for regular updates.  In the meantime,  scroll down for details of all my current classes and workshops. If you need any more information do get in touch.

Papier Mâché – Lake District Residential and weekly workshops

I’ll be running another papier mâché course at Glenthorne Quaker Centre in Grasmere in September 2026.  It will come round quicker than you think! Booking for this is now open on the Glenthorne Website  Please contact me if you’d like any more details about this, or any other workshops.

Creative Art Workshops

My next workshops will be taking place at my popup Open Studios at the Grosvenor Centre.   I have a range of mini projects planned, including drawing, mixed media work and a fun group project that will run over the 6 weeks. They will be drop-in sessions, so you can come  to as many or as few as you like! Hope you’ll want to join me. Get in touch if you need any other information. You can see the programme for the first week here.

Life Classes

The next life classes at Townley St Hall will be on Friday 8th May and Thursday 21st May April.  Booking will open here on Sunday, 26 April.  If you need any more information or would like to go on the mailing list for Life Drawing, please email me.

Bespoke Courses

I also run bespoke courses so if you have a group that would like to do something together get in touch. Depending on the subject, I could run a one-off workshop for you (as an unusual birthday celebration??) or a short series. For example, I can put on a 5-week course in papier mâché where you can learn how to make your own animal. this could be online if you aren’t local to Macclesfield. Or I can do a one-off session, showing you how to make simple concertina books, recycling found materials. I can also do vouchers – maybe a present for that awkward-to-buy-for person? (That’ll teach ’em). If you have something in mind or just want to know a bit more please get in touch. I am fully DBS-checked. Prices start at £60 per group for a 2-hour session.

Payment for all courses is made at the time of booking. All your details are processed securely and your credit card details are processed via Stripe. If an event is shown as sold out, click on ‘view detail’ to be added to the waiting list.

May Life Drawing (male model)

The next life class with a male model will take place on Friday, May 8th, 7-9 pm. We will be working from the live model. The session is relaxed and informal. No previous experience is necessary but if you’re new to life drawing Patty will guide you through the basics. Students are encouraged to look at each other’s work and share ideas. £10.50 per person Please bring your own materials. This can be whatever you like to draw with – pen, pencil, charcoal, pastels.  An A4 or A3 pad is probably most convenient. If you prefer to work bigger or on loose paper then you will probably need a board. This can be rested on a chair in front of you or you can bring an easel if you have one. Please note: I require a minimum of 12 attendees for this event to go ahead. In the unlikely even that we do not reach this threshold, you will be offered a full refund.  It hasn’t been necessary yet (touch wood!) If the course is fully booked please scroll down to the ‘WAITING LIST‘ below. Enter your details and then click on ‘register waiting’.  If a place later becomes available […] ...
