These lovely books were made at a bookmaking workshop I did the other week in Manchester, with a team from the Arts Council. We had such a lovely time! It’s always fun seeing what images people choose for their covers and how they use them. Each one is unique, and really reflects the personality of the person making it. A lot of the group spend their days working with digital media and looking at screens so they were thrilled when I turned up with old-school glue spreaders and told them they’d be doing real-life cutting and pasting. If that sounds like something you’d fancy doing with your work colleagues then have a word with your boss and tell them to get in touch with me!
